There is a 10-day summer institute at Iowa State entitled "Mentoring and Leadership for K-12 Chinese teachers." For anyone interested in applying for this program, deadline is tomorrow, but I bet if you call them and say you're interested, they will grant extensions. I have applied and think it will be a great session; it doesn't hurt that Startalk is picking up the bill for all of the expenses, including travel, room and board and stipend.
