Soyodo書原--disappointment

Hi everyone,

I went to 書原again today. Trying to buy some supplies for calligraphy. Sadly, the brush set is only package of 3 sizes. I asked the clerk if I can order, she was not very eager to help. She was trying to sell only what she has in the store.

I was a bit frustrated. So, I think perhaps it's time to research other venues online.
Any suggestions?

Sara

Sara,
You can get the brush and ink no more than $3 for each person in Chinatown bookstore. I ask my student to pay for them.

Julia, Since it's too late for the school's bookstore to purchase items. Do you have the students pay you? How do you charge the students?

I will collect the money from the students as soon as the school starts. Or you can let them buy them when you go to Chinatown for the field trip. Usually, you don't start the calligraphy right a way anyway.

Thanks Julia! Excellent point! I've been driving around Chicago like a blind bat this entire week for family errands I've lost my mind! I'll do that, saves me from a lot of extra work.
