I found a great deal on Little White Boards

http://www2.abcstuff.com/cgi/Web_store/web_store.cgi

I ordered 35 white boards 9" x 12" for under $90! The price is incredible. I'll share with you my review of the product once I receive them next week.

Since I am new to the high school system, so I have a question about buying teaching supplies and materials. How do you request reimbursement from school? Is it different from school to school? Or the procedure is about the same?

Marie,
Differenet schools have different rules. If I were you, just send an email to the department chair. Usualy the school will invest some money for the new program.
Good luck!

www.dryerase.com is great! the price is good. i'm going to order the marker/eraser set from them.

regarding marie's question. my department chair said there's not enough funding to buy dry erase board. so it'll be my personal collection. my other supplies have already been purchased.

here's what i usually do.
1. tell department chair the need to buy supplies.
2.get a tax exempt letter and make copies of it.
3. keep receipt and request reimbursement. if department won't pay for it. keep the receipt and itemize deduct in your income tax.
